Monday, July 2, 2007. We finally reached the Silk Road, or at least part of it. Unfortunately, not the smoothest start, more like The Corduroy Road, but as Gal mentioned It was probably more difficult doing it in ancient times. Sorry for the messy post, but it was a messy part of the trip. This was done in Zhongdian, a very touristy place.
Tuesday, September 25, 2007. Only after the mountains of West-Sichuan, China, did she understand she can cycle anywhere, and that Turkey is on the way. Gal was bit by a dog. Coffee with the captain and his first officer.
Thursday, July 26, 2007. 5 months, we left China. We were excited at the border, it surprised us. For some time now we were ready to leave. We were tired of too many things.
